We will invest time and resources to train you to become a fully trained planner over a 24 month period.

Job Description for qualified planner:

Effective Planning and utilisation of Drivers for deliveries throughout Scotland and England within a busy Traffic Department.
Planning daily workload for a large fleet of vehicles.
Dealing with queries by telephone and email from our customers at various sites.
Ensure driver’s hours and working time directive regulations and related legislation are adhered to.
Plan collections and deliveries to agreed movement schedules.
Responsible for meeting all Company health and safety standards.

Experience in a busy and demanding environment.
Be able to work effectively in a close team.
Have the ability to work alone as well as within the team.
Have good problem solving, analytical and organisational skills.
Be able to work under pressure and to a tight timescale.
Have a flexible and adaptable approach to working in order to meet the requirements of the business, particularly at peak periods during the year.
Be able to communicate well at all levels within the business.
By highly motivated.
Be PC literate in Word Excel and Outlook.
Should demonstrate the drive and desire to progress.
Must be flexible in approach to work and shift patterns.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £27,000.00 per year
