Warehouse Assistant

Location: Unit 8b Colvilles Place, East Kilbride, Glasgow, G75 0PZ

SALARY: £25,000 based on 37.5 hours per week

JOB SUMMARY

To work closely with the warehouse supervisor to ensure that all needs and upkeep of the warehouse are being met to the highest standard. Goods are checked in to ensure that all deliveries correlate to the orders created. To ensure that all goods being checked out are correct and that all stock is present.

All stock is inspected and is of the highest standard and that the quality matches the needs of the business.

Ensure that the warehouse is kept free of clutter and that all equipment is put away in the correct places to prevent accidents from happening.

Prepare stock to be collected by floor layers each day with customer information.

MAIN DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Checking of goods being brought in and out.

· Everyday running of the warehouse.

· Checking quality of stock

· Stock management

· Stock ordering

· Day to day upkeep of the warehouse
