Band 8A £62,681 - £67,665 per annum
Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,406 per annum
37 hours per week

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to lead and develop the Clinical Support Nurse team based at the Western Isles Hospital. The team currently consists of 8 qualified ANPs, 4 trainee ANPs and 2 HCAs. The service presently covers hospital at night and also oversees bed management and provides clinical support alongside the medical team during the daytime.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills along with an appetite for service development. A minimum of 5 years experience working at advanced nurse practitioner level in the acute hospital setting, along with evidence of involvement in staff management, education and training are also essential.
The successful applicant will be required to register with the PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme).
