Job Title: IM&T Project Manager
Salary: circa £50,000 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:
- Manage aspects of the Project lifecycle enabling the Project to meet the needs of customers/users and achieve financial or other targets.
- Provide advice and guidance for effective use of measures and measurement and plans and implements improvements to measurement capability. Contribute to IM&T policies, standards, and guidelines for measurement. Review data collection and storage mechanisms (including automation) to support measurement.
- Determine the readiness levels of business users regarding upcoming changes, uncover readiness gaps and create and implements action plans to close the gaps prior to going live.
- Support users through transition and change, liaising with project teams, and monitor and report on business readiness, training, engagement, and productivity outcomes.
- Identify stakeholder communication needs and translate engagement strategies into actionable plans and deliverables, serving as a single point of contact to facilitate open communication.
- Provide informed feedback to stakeholders to assess and support understanding and capture and share technical and business information.
- Manage issues and resolutions, capture lessons learned and use stakeholder feedback to assess engagement effectiveness.
- Utilise methods, tools, and techniques, selecting appropriately from plan-driven/predictive approaches or more adaptive (iterative and agile) approaches.
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Strong knowledge or project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2).
- HNC / Computer Science Degre) and vocational qualification or equivalent experience (e.g Prince 2 Foundations / APM)
- Experience of commercial awareness, financial acumen for budget management and cost control
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Awareness of importance of business unit policies and processes.
- Experience of working in an IT Function.
- Trained at least to ITIL foundation

The IM&T Project Management Team:
The Project Manager role supports the delivery of projects that help the business meet its operational and strategic goals. Working closely with stakeholders, the role helps coordinate project activities and ensures that project plans and outcomes align with business needs.
The position holder is responsible for managing and delivering small to medium‑sized projects or contributing to larger programmes by delivering assigned work packages. These projects may involve technology, applications, or business change, particularly in areas related to transition and transformation activities
