As from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.

The role
As a band 6 CPN you will play a pivotal role in providing specialist mental health care to adults experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties. This is a valid and rewarding post where every day brings something different.
Your responsibilities will include:
Caseload management of adults with complex mental health needs
Mental health assessment and formulation
Providing informed psychological interventions
Monitoring and supporting individuals subject to the Mental Health Act
Responding to rapid changes or deterioration in mental state
Working collaboratively within a well-established multidisciplinary team
Contributing to service development within a busy high-acuity environment

What we're looking for:
Registered Mental Health Nurse
Experiencing community mental health or transferable acute/psychiatric settings
Strong assessment, risk management, and therapeutic skills
Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Flexibility, resilience, and a genuine commitment to high quality care.
