This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to work within the Stress and Distress Team.
The post holder will work with Mid and East Ross Care homes to provide non-pharmacological interventions to reduce distressed behaviours in people with Dementia.
The postholder will be expected to have a sound clinical knowledge of Dementia and have a minimum of 2 years experience working with Older Adults. A working knowledge of the Newcastle model of care and non- pharmacological interventions is desirable and would be advantageous.
The postholder will be required to have a full UK driving license and access to a car for work purposes.

- Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
