We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a Joinery Workshop Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a joinery environment and have an understanding of the business.

Job Responsibilities

Operate joinery machinery within a workshop environment
Prepare materials to meet Sidey’s contract requirements
Accurately measure, cut and package materials
Calculate and confirm material quantities required for production
Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles in line with health & safety guidelines
Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment
Work collaboratively as part of the workshop team
Work overtime when required to meet business demand

Essential Requirements

Logical thinking and maths skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely
Excellent organisational skills
Reliable, punctual and professional approach
Positive attitude and strong team ethic

Desirable

Joinery machinery or hand tool experience
Previous experience in a joinery workshop environment
Full UK driving licence
Forklift experience
