About the Role:
Are you an experienced and organised Training and Development Manager? Do you hold a Certificate III in Sterilisation Services?
The Sterilising Services Team is looking for a Training and Development Manager to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for the orientation, training and development of both new and existing staff. You will ensure training is monitored, developed and delivered in accordance with national standards and CHS policies, while supporting the delivery of a patient-focused, high-quality product and service to every customer.
This is a diverse role that combines the development of training and education programs and competencies, practical training delivery, and administrative responsibilities. On occasion, the position will require shift work to ensure training and education opportunities are available to staff across all shifts, including early, late and night shifts.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and organisational skills, with the adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic environment. You will have extensive knowledge of sterilising services operations, decontamination processes and reprocessing standards, along with the ability to monitor training compliance in line with relevant policies, procedures and standards.

• | Be available to rotate through a weekend/public holiday on-call roster. This position is primarily Monday to Friday daytime hours; however, there is a requirement to rotate through the emergency on-call roster with other managers. |
