Consultant Radiologist
Hours 10Pas/40hours per week
£111,430 - £148,064 per annum pro rata
NHS Highland is looking to appoint Consultant Radiologists to substantive roles, joining a diverse team of enthusiastic consultant Radiologists to provide imaging services across NHS Highland.
This post is offered either as a 10 PA role, including 2 SPAs, or as LTFT working. Consultants currently work to a wide range of job plans, including the option of providing some DCC sessions remotely. All sub-speciality interests will be considered.
The NHS Highland Radiology department is rapidly evolving, with PACS/ RIS scheduled to be replaced in the coming months. In addition a new Order Comms platform will go live in the near future.
We were the first board in Scotland to move to outsourced on call, allowing the Radiologist team to concentrate on delivering high level subspeciality working in both cancer and non-cancer settings.
There are ample opportunities to become involved in teaching and management activity, backed by experienced medical and non-medical leaders. We have an excellent record of supporting IMGs through the CESR process to gain entry to the specialist register.
