Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Accounts Assistant to join the team within the Bridge of Don office in Aberdeen. This exciting opportunity will be at the forefront of an innovative new way of working for Fugro helping to ensure we are at the forefront of the industry.

This is a temporary position up until the end of October 2026 and we would be looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

The Accounts Assistant will be working within the busy Finance Shared Service Centre, reporting directly to the Treasury Accountant. You will be required to keep track of the bank account entries and transactions, set up bank payments, process employee expenses and credit card transactions.

Your role and responsibilities:

Processing employee personal expense claims
Processing company Barclaycard expenses
Dealing with expense and Barclaycard queries
Assist with the payment of employee expenses
Support with the daily banking entries
Assist with the preparation of monthly reconciliations.

What you’ll need to thrive in this role:

Experience of working in a similar role
Experience of working with Microsoft Packages
Have a keen eye for detail.
Use your own initiative and problem solve.
Have excellent communication skills.
Have a strong work ethic.
