About this Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our CIB Rectification & Remediation (R&R) team. We are a very flexible team with our primary goal of putting things right when things have gone wrong for our clients. The R&R portfolio is varied, high-profile and always challenging.
What you’ll be doing
You will Closely and proactively support the Programme/Project Managers through the remediation and rectification change lifecycle as an integral part of the team. Own and lead the business analysis activity from investigation to delivery ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and completeness. Apply your technical and business insight to collaborate closely with Group Transformation, Data Services and Delivery colleagues on issue identification, solution design and implementation. Bring to life your banking experience to help frame, create and build new and improved ways of working

About you
You have excellent analytical skills, you are comfortable with data and have a structured understanding of processes and business procedures
You're a dynamic and adaptable individual who can use and learn new skills and knowledge in varying circumstances and confident providing complex analytical, research advice, recommendations and using your own judgment
Capable of working in pressured and challenging situations, you’re calm, structured and a reassurance to colleagues and partners
As a natural facilitator and decision-maker, you'll enable collaboration across all fields and across all partner groups
You'll be a capable negotiator, analytical thinker and problem solver who will influence positively
A natural leader who'll mentor and support junior colleagues to 'deliver best in class' remediation and rectification activity
Demonstrating similar values and behaviours to our Group's and encouraging this in team members
What you’ll need
Solid understanding of business analysis and business architecture methodologies and techniques and their practical application
Exposure to skills from multiple subject areas such as Operating Model, Process Design, Digital and Technology
Proficient in Waterfall but with an understanding of Agile
Exposure to systems thinking, business architecture and change delivery
Excellent investigative skills, able to identify root causes and quantify business and client impact.
Evidence of maintaining internal and external networks to source data and information to enable timely recommendations and advice
Evidence of Engaging and influencing partners, anticipating, clarifying and shaping requirements for the purpose of optimising business results
And any experience of these would be really useful
Previous experience of remediations
Understanding of the Remediation and Rectification life cycle
Experience of extracting data from core systems using applications such as SQL & Teradata
