MEDICINE FOR THE ELDERLY / GENERAL MEDICINE

NHS Tayside has a vacancy from until 4th February 2026 to 4th August 2026 in Medicine for the Elderly and General Medicine in NHS Tayside. This is a fixed term post for 6 months. The final placement will be decided following discussion with the successful applicant, and will be in a training grade post in Medicine for the Elderly. The successful candidates will also contribute to the General Medicine on call rotas in Ninewells Hospital.
The Postgraduate Dean has confirmed that the post has the required educational and staffing approval. If appointed as a LAT achieved competences can count towards CCT.
Training programmes are open to those who may, either from the outset or subsequently, wish to train less than full-time.
Participation in teaching, research and quality improvement work is encouraged and will be supported.
