An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Practitioners to join the Diabetes Specialist Nurse team in Tayside. The Diabetes Specialist Nursing Team is expanding to support service delivery.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Deliver specialist diabetes care and advice in all life events inclusive of pregnancy, adolescence, illness, diabetes related complications and end stages of life.
- Deliver specialist diabetes care and advise within in-patient and outpatient settings.
- Participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of guidelines and protocols to improve practice within diabetes management.
- Collaborate with multi-professional, multi-agency professionals to enhance the healthcare experience for people with diabetes.
- Participation in the development of PDP aimed at improving health care, maintaining skills and knowledge to facilitate ongoing personal and professional learning.
ABOUT YOU
- Registered Nurse on Sub Part 1 of the UK NMC Register.
- Educated to degree level.
- Experienced nurse with good people skills.
- Adaptable to change and be able to influence new ways of working.
- Willing to undertake relevant training and demonstrate innovating practice.
- Ability to travel across Tayside is essential.
Hours of work are Mon- Fri 09:00-17:00hrs 1.0 WTE (37hours) Permanent
