Job Title: Senior Quality Control Inspector -Mechanical
Location: Scotstoun , Glasgow.
Salary: Up to £48,000 dependent on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Oversee end to end complex installs representing the Quality Control team through various aspects such as preparation events, installation and subsequent verification.
- Engage in all technical aspects of complex install
- Define stakeholder groups and maintain key stakeholder engagement.
- Work as part of a wider coordinated Quality Control team to delivery key events in line with inspection test plans.
Your skills and experiences:
- Time served in relevant discipline with proven experience (Mechanical bias but not mandatory)
- Preferred experience in complex installations with a technical aptitude.

The Quality Team
Become part of our highly skilled and fast-paced Type 26 Programme, where you’ll join a dynamic Quality Team of around 55 professionals covering a wide range of inspection disciplines. Our team plays a crucial role in delivering one of the most technically advanced naval platforms to our customers. From the UK MOD and Royal Navy to a growing number of international contracts.
As a key member of the team, you’ll be involved in a diverse range of inspections activities across multiple components, ensuring the highest quality standards are consistently met. You’ll have the opportunity to influence both strategic and technical discussions within your area of expertise and represent the department in key forums.
