We are now accepting applications for our 2026 Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) Training Programme in our Dundee office. This three-year fixed-term contract offers extensive support and mentoring to help you transition smoothly into a successful professional career.
During your training contract you will:
- Assist senior auditors with planning and delivering audits across a range of clients.
- Gain hands-on experience in audit methodology, risk assessment, and evidence testing.
- Review client documentation, analyse sample data, and contribute to audit reports.
- Support fieldwork at client premises or remotely, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop strong written and verbal communication skills through client interaction.
- Engage in structured training and begin studying towards the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) qualification.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of a 2:1 degree in any subject
- Four Highers at B grades or above in Maths, English, Science, Accounting, or Business Studies.
- Communicates clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally.
- Well-organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Builds strong professional relationships and understands client needs.
- Proactive and adaptable, taking ownership to deliver results.
- Works well as part of a team and supports a positive team environment.
- Applies logical thinking to analyse problems and find solutions.
- Maintains high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Committed to professional development and working towards the CIA qualification.
