Senior Computational Fluid Dynamics Engineer – SPS
Are you passionate about solving complex flow challenges using CFD in subsea systems?
Do you enjoy delivering high-quality simulations that drive engineering decisions?
Join our innovative Subsea Production Systems (SPS) Team
Our SPS team supports critical subsea operations by delivering advanced modelling and simulation solutions. We collaborate across global engineering teams to provide high-quality thermo-fluid analysis, supporting safe, efficient, and optimized subsea system performance.
Partner with the best
As a Senior Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Engineer, you will perform advanced thermo-fluid simulations to support global projects across the full lifecycle—from early engagement through to FEED and EPC delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive technical excellence, and deliver optimized engineering solutions to customers.
As a Senior Computational Fluid Dynamics Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Performing CFD simulations for subsea production systems and multiphase flow scenarios
- Interpreting project requirements to develop optimal thermo-fluid solutions
- Supporting FEED and EPC projects with high-quality engineering analysis
- Preparing technical reports, calculations, and presentations for stakeholders
- Collaborating with global teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
- Ensuring compliance with EHS, quality, and regulatory standards
- Supporting design decisions through thermal, FIV, and erosion analysis
- Contributing to knowledge sharing, training, and technical initiatives
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline
- Have significant experience in CFD analysis (thermal, multiphase, FIV, or erosion preferred)
- Have experience using CFD tools such as ANSYS Fluent/CFX or STAR-CCM+
- Have knowledge of flow assurance tools (e.g., OLGA, PIPESIM, HYSYS – desirable)
- Have understanding of FEA or FSI concepts (advantageous)
- Have experience delivering work within cost, quality, and schedule constraints
- Have strong presentation and communication skills
- Have experience working within global and cross-functional teams
