Salary: £43,509 – £46,409

Role Description:
This is an opportunity to support modern learning practices as an integral part of the learning and assessment programme, through providing a direct hands-on approach around career guidance and progression. You will be able to make your mark by inspiring the next generation of engineers within BAE Systems, providing you with a wide exposure to the business.
Core Duties:
- Deliver outstanding coaching, learning and assessment practices that engage and inspire learners to fulfil their individual potential and develop the skills, knowledge and behaviors to successfully progress within the business
- Take professional pride in their role and embrace continuous professional development opportunities in support of delivering innovative and impactful coaching, learning and assessment
- Assess and monitor learner progress & performance in line with frameworks and legislative requirements to ensure occupational competence
- Coach learners to reach their full potential by providing key support, mentoring, challenge and motivation throughout all aspects of their learning journey
- Develop learners that are innovative thinkers and creative problem solvers, through coaching and delivering learning content as part of a blended learning pedagogy focused on delivering vocational excellence
Essential Skills:
- Subject matter expert on Engineering, Graduate and Modern Apprenticeship
- Background in engineering with engineering qualification
- Design Engineering (structural, electrical, mechanical or combat systems) experience
- Knowledge and understanding of Awarding Bodies & SDS Quality Standards
- Knowledge and experience of assessment/ verification practices and awarding body requirement
- Enhanced DBS and full security clearance
- L&D9 – Assessor Qualification (Training can be provided)
