An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join our team in supporting volunteers and staff within Acute Services.
Applications are invited from individuals who enjoy working in a busy and varied role for the post of Volunteer Coordinator within the Patient Safety, Clinical Governance & Risk Management Team.
We are looking for an individual to support the implementation of our new and creative Volunteer Management System (VMS) and support our existing and new volunteers to use the VMS to its fullest potential.
The successful candidate should see the potential in developing volunteers to enhance and improve the services we offer. The successful candidate should have excellent communication and time management/prioritisation skills and the ability to promote the role of volunteers positively.

You will be required to comply with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland throughout your employment.

Hours of work are 20 hours Monday to Friday. Hours can be flexible over a minimum of 3 days per week during office hours. Fixed Term/Secondment for 6 Months. Please note that the salary scale for this post is pro rata for part time hours.
Current NHS Tayside Employees - Written approval must be sought from your line manager prior to applying for this secondment. You will be required to bring this if shortlisted for interview.
