An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced registered nurse to join the Aberdeen City Health & Social Care Partnership, in our Community Treatment and Care service (CTAC).
This is a permanent 36 hour post based in our CTAC Clinics in Aberdeen City. As the post holder is employed by NHS Grampian, there may be a requirement to work flexibly across Aberdeen City H&SCP to meet service demands.
Successful applicants will have excellent communication, leadership and team working skills and be committed to delivering a high standard of care to patients. Applicants should have successfully completed Post Graduate Diploma SCQF Level 10, as a minimum and have experience in community and/or treatment room nursing, however experience in other healthcare settings will be considered.
As a senior nurse, the post holder will provide day to day leadership for the delivery of patient care within clinical settings, including the allocation and supervision of staff, often without direct supervision. Excellent IT skills are essential.
Venepuncture, ECG, wound care and other nursing skills are essential. The post holder will work closely with the CTAC Team Lead to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
The successful applicant requires to have a driving licence for this post as movement between clinic sites and supporting staff based within GP practice across Aberdeen City is essential. This may include travelling within areas within Aberdeen City Low Emission Zone.
