An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and motivated District Nurse Specialist Practitioner to join the Nairn & Ardersier Community Nursing Team on a permanent basis.
The Nairn & Ardersier Community Nursing Team is committed to delivering high quality nursing care across its local communities.
The successful applicant will be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service which will mean rotation of shifts to ensure service provision over 7 days.
The post holder will hold a Specialist Practitioner District Nursing qualification and be accountable for planning, coordinating and delivering safe and effective person-centred care.
The post holder must be able to evidence excellent clinical leadership and change management skills. It is essential for the post holder to demonstrate high quality communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to inspire, empower and motivate the team, demonstrating the pillars of an advanced practitioner. The post holder should be self-motivated, have an in-depth knowledge of community nursing, excellent communication, leadership and networking skills. This challenging but rewarding post sits within a well-established Integrated Adult Heath and Social care team.

A requirement of the post is to be a registered Nurse, with a Specialist Qualification in District Nursing with a valid UK NMC registration and have a driving licence with access to a car.
