- Ongoing/Permanent, Part-Time (28 hours per week across a 7 day roster)
Join our General Services team at Gawler Health Service as a Services Assistant where you will be responsible for providing a timely, efficient, and effective service, that involves the catering, laundry and cleaning of the health unit. Duties may include the preparation, service, and delivery of food to clients, and general housekeeping.
The Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network runs from Kangaroo Island to Eudunda, wrapping all the way around our metropolitan areas (this position is in Gawler). - Undertake a range of vital support duties including food preparation, cleaning, laundry and stock handling to keep daily operations running smoothly.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently, following clear instructions while adhering to infection control and WHS standards.
- Provide respectful assistance to patients, clients, and staff, maintaining confidentiality and supporting culturally safe and inclusive care.
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused workplace by participating in training, quality improvement, and helping identify opportunities for better service delivery.
- Enjoy variety in your work with a rotating shift roster covering mornings, afternoons, and nights, seven days a week
