An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Physiotherapist who is keen to develop their clinical knowledge and skills within the Orthopaedic Unit at Raigmore Hospital.
The successful applicant will work with the Acute Physiotherapy Orthopaedic team to provide Physiotherapy services to elective and trauma Orthopaedics and will participate in the 7 day Orthopaedic Physiotherapy service.
The post will include weekend working.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate a high standard of clinical expertise in the assessment and management of a range of Orthopaedic patients and should have relevant post-graduate experience within the specialty of Orthopaedics.
The post holder will support the Team Lead in Orthopaedics with the professional development of rotational Band 5 Physiotherapy staff and Physiotherapy Health Care support workers and assist with the effective day to day running of the Physiotherapy service in this area. The successful applicant will also support Physiotherapy student practice education.
An active continuous professional development programme, Turas and staff appraisal systems are in operation.
