Band 4 Paediatric Audiology Secretary
Salary Scale: £30,353 - £33,016 per annum pro rata
Audiology is looking to recruit a Paediatric Audiology Secretary support the work of Universal Newborn Screening, the Paediatric Audiology Team and admin support for the Paediatricians working alongside our team. This is a unique and vital role within our team, supporting babies, children and their families and if you are looking for a change to a department that will support your development in administration then this may be the role for you. You would be joining a team which cover a wide ranging and varied administrative workload required to support audiology to ensure safe and efficient running of the department.
The role provides comprehensive administrative support across three paediatric services under Audiology and therefore holds responsibility for a diverse set of tasks. This role leads the booking from Paediatric Audiology waiting lists and ensures that the schedule is efficiently used for patients and their families.
Ideal candidates will have administrative experience, excellent customer service skills, a professional and positive approach to completing both operational needs and having ideas for developing the service further.
You should have relevant experience working in administration in the NHS, be comfortable using NHS IT systems, and have high levels of initiative, working well with other members of the team you work in. You must have good oral and written communication and customer care skills and can communicate well on the telephone.
You will work alongside professionals from Audiology and will provide admin support to other services within Kings Cross Health & Community Care Centre. If you would like to arrange an informal visit prior to your application please contact us.
