The Post:
As a vital part of NHS Scotland, NHS National Services Scotland’s mission is to enable and support the delivery of better health and better care, working in partnership. We do this by providing a range of specialised support services that enable NHS Boards to focus their efforts on delivering health improvement.
The Candidate:
We are looking for a reliable dependable person who is able to work as part of a team and on their own initiative.
These positions will predominantly be based Domestic Services, however, will also be required to work across all Facilities services which entails Reception, Mailroom, Catering and Domestic services as required, once suitably trained.
The post holder will also be required to participate in weekend and public holiday on call Rota as part of this post and to support cover for staff absence, therefore an element of flexibility required.
Location and Working Pattern:
These roles will be based at Edinburgh Blood Donor Centre however the post holder may be required to work across multiple NSS sites across Edinburgh and South Queensferry, according to service requirements on an adhoc basis.
Expenses between base and other sites will be provided once authorised.
Normal Working pattern is Monday to Sunday 5/7; 22 hrs per week (various shifts between the hours 06.00am - 20.00pm).
It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
