CATERING PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

Bank Contract

Covering annual leave & sickness

Various shifts between the hours of 0930 and 2000, Monday to Friday

Band 2: £13.34 per hour starting rate

An opportunity has arisen for a catering production assistant to join the team in the main production kitchen at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

This role will predominantly involve; cleaning, plating patient meals, basic food handling, and other kitchen porter type duties.

Previous experience of working within a busy catering environment or cleaning operation that is physically demanding will be an advantage, although on the job training is provided.

Please note that we are looking for people with availability Monday to Friday, between 9am and 8pm, and this is a bank position only.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
