fixed term, full or part time post based in General Medicine at St John’s Hospital (from August 2025)
These posts are ideally suited to doctors who have completed Foundation Training (or equivalent) and are seeking broad experience in General Internal Medicine prior to specialty training. There are opportunities for exposure to a wide range of specialties within the Medical Unit, including:
• Acute Medicine
• Cardiology
• Diabetes & Endocrinology
• Respiratory Medicine
• Gastroenterology
• Stroke Medicine
The successful candidates will contribute to the Acute Medicine rota, working across the Medical Admissions Unit and inpatient wards within a supportive, consultant-led team.
Development Opportunities
These roles include 0.5 days per week of protected development time, which may be used for:
• Undergraduate or postgraduate teaching
• Quality Improvement projects
• Clinical governance
• Portfolio and CV development
