About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Canteen Chef to join our kitchen team.

This is a key role within the business, you’ll be responsible for delivering consistently high-quality breakfast service, ensuring dishes are prepared, presented, and served to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast dishes to a high standard

• Carry out food preparation across all kitchen areas as required

• Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic workspace at all times

• Ensure all equipment is used safely and in line with health & safety guidelines

• Work closely with the kitchen team to deliver excellent service

• Contribute ideas to improve kitchen efficiency and performance

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Chef or similar role (ideally breakfast service)

• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards

• Strong attention to detail and presentation

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Well organised with good time management

• Strong team player with good communication skills

• Flexible and adaptable to changing demands

• Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to the team

Requirements
