The Role
The NHSL OHAS team is currently recruiting for an Assistant Case Manager to join our dynamic support team within Salus, based at Beckford Street in Hamilton. This is a full time Band 4 post with a specific remit for supporting mental health and musculoskeletal related staff sickness absence. The role involves telephone support, signposting and onward referral where appropriate. This post can be intense but also incredibly rewarding, working with a wider support team. We are particularly interested in applicants who have telephone experience working with individuals requiring mental health support. In addition, experience of working with a range of Microsoft office packages or databases are advantageous. Additional training will be provided for the successful candidate.
What You'll Bring:
- Educated to HNC level (Health & Social Care, Business Admin, counselling Advice & guidance) or equivalent experience with an NHS or social care setting
- Knowledge of client health and employability issues is essential
- Proven and well developed interpersonal skills and working with individuals on a one-to-one basis
- Excellent communication and motivational skills
From 1 April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will reduce from 37 hours to 36 hours. Part-time working hours will be reduced on a pro-rata basis. A corresponding increase in the hourly rate will apply, ensuring that overall pay remains unchanged.
