We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our friendly and supportive team at Peterhead Community Hospital.
This post is ideal for newly qualified Occupational Therapists looking to consolidate their skills in a supportive environment, as well as those with existing experience who are keen to develop their practice further within a community hospital setting.
About the role
As a Band 5 Occupational Therapist, you will manage a designated caseload, delivering high-quality, person-centred assessments and interventions to support patients during their stay in the community hospital. Your work will play a vital role in enabling safe, timely and effective discharge, supporting patients to achieve maximum independence.
You will work as part of a well-established, multi-professional and multi-agency team, contributing to coordinated care planning and rehabilitation. You will also have opportunities to provide professional advice and support to occupational therapy support workers and students, helping to build skills and confidence across the service.

You will:
- Hold a BSc in Occupational Therapy
- Be HCPC registered (or eligible for registration)
- Have enthusiasm for community hospital rehabilitation and discharge planning
- Enjoy working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
