About the Role:

The Cardiac Catheter Laboratory at Canberra Hospital is a specialised service providing a full range of cardiac diagnostic, interventional and electrophysiology procedures across two purpose-built laboratories, with a 24-hour service supporting acute and chronic cardiac care, including STEMI activations outside business hours. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Consultant to provide professional, clinical and operational leadership within this high-performing service. The role is accountable for delivering high-quality nursing care, leading quality and clinical governance, and ensuring safe, efficient and sustainable service delivery in partnership with the Cardiology Unit Director. This position has a strong focus on workforce capability and development, supporting nursing staff through education, training and professional development to ensure best practice, contemporary and patient-centred cardiac care.
