About this Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Weekend Shift Manager to join our Shieldhall site – Diageo’s Scotch category’s largest packaging site. We supply globally circa 30 million cases of our iconic brands from Shieldhall.
The Shieldhall Scotch site comprises 7 production lines, a spirit supply operation, multiple other dry and wet component areas and circa 380 people. This role is responsible for all teams working weekends and there is an opportunity to be flexible around working days/hours.
You’ll lead a team of circa 40 people which is made up of Packaging Team Leaders, Equipment owners, Operators and Engineers. You will be a ground-breaking and inspirational leader who is passionate about driving dedication and a continuous improvement culture where people are highly engaged, and manufacturing excellence is at the forefront of how we do business. You’ll be a self-motivated leader, create energy and motivation in your team and deliver stretching plans to service our customers.
With high levels of growth anticipated across Scotch, you’ll be instrumental in implementing the strategic plan for liquid packaging, ensuring that a successful growth agenda is built on strong organisational change principals.
