We are currently seeking an Events Co-ordinator to join our Events Team at Hudsons.

Over the past 35 years Hudsons’ has built up an enviable reputation in the North East of Scotland as the leading private event and wedding caterer renowned for providing quality catering and coordinating superb events.

As Events Coordinator you will be responsible for effectively managing all aspect of events from initial enquiry through to successful delivery and execution, working closely with the wider Hudsons Team. This role will involve administrative duties but you will also need to be equipped with the ability to be operational to oversee weddings and events of all kinds.

Supported by the Event Managers, you will be competent with following up enquiries and managing the day to day administration for all event bookings, particularly relating to the high number of weddings we conduct. This role will also involve attending wedding fairs and exhibitions as required.

As Events co-ordinator you will be passionate about people, have a personalised approach, be an excellent and confident communicator by telephone and face to face, providing a warm and professional service to all our clients.

Duties will Include:

Provide an effective and efficient response to all enquiries
Ensure all admin duties are undertaken in an organised and professional manner
Building close relationships with clients and going above and beyond to exceed their expectations
Manage and coordinate all event logistics
Maintain excellent communication links with the rest of the Hudsons team, venues and suppliers to ensure the success of all events
Manage a team of waiting staff, giving full briefings, to ensure a smooth running of the event on the day
Maintain a professional profile within the marketplace for weddings fairs and special events
Undertake all other reasonable duties within the business as requested by the Directors
