The Department of Clinical Biochemistry, ARI has a vacancy for a full time Chief Biomedical Scientist, Band 8a.
The successful applicant will act as Chief Biomedical Scientist with responsibility for day to day operational issues within the Special Chemistry section of the department.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Biomedical Scientists who have HCPC registration and extensive experience within a Clinical Biochemistry department.
The applicant will hold an Honours B.Sc. and higher degree (M.Sc./Higher Specialist Diploma or FIBMS).
The successful applicant must be motivated and enthusiastic with good leadership qualities and must be able to demonstrate current continuing professional development.
They will have good organisational and practical abilities supported by scientific knowledge, well developed interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to support individual and team working.
