Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.
Applications are invited for 2 Consultant Urological Surgeons with a speciality interest in Core Urology and Benign Prostate Enlargement Services. The successful applicant must be experienced in dealing with all aspects of core urology. Other sub-specialty interests would be considered if they complement the department’s spread of activity.
The out of hours commitment will be a 1 in 11 on-call rota.
You should be an appropriately trained individual who is able to provide a urological service at consultant level. The elective sessions relating to the post will be delivered from the QEUH, Victoria Ambulatory Care Facility and Gartnavel General Hospital.
The jobs are offered as full-time posts on a 10 PA basis.
Applicants must have full GMC Registration, a license to practise and eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register. Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from the date of interview. CESR (Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration) route doctors are only eligible to apply for a substantive consultant post once CESR is awarded. Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.
