Wood is seeking a HVAC Build Services Engineer to join the Process and Energy team providing HVAC services across refinery, petrochemical and energy transition FEED and EPCM projects. The successful candidate will be required to attend site surveys, and engage with our client in their UK offices.
As a HVAC Engineer, you will deliver HVAC engineering solutions, develop ventilation system designs, perform equipment sizing, and produce technical documentation. You may also act as Lead HVAC Engineer, reviewing deliverables and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and industry standards.
You will support project planning, manage design changes, prepare engineering calculations and specifications, and ensure work is delivered on schedule and within budget.
P&E offers a wide range of opportunities which will allow you to develop your skills across a portfolio of onshore projects in different sectors. Our current portfolio includes green hydrogen and fuel switching, as well as supporting local clients with energy transition. Additionally, we work on UK refineries, petrochemical facilities, fine chemicals and pharmaceutical facilities. We have a number of clients who we are working with to design their pilot plants to test exciting new technologies, with a view to partnering with them as they move to design and build full scale commercial facilities.
