Summary
Reporting to the Manager, UK & European Field Service Operations, the Field Service Coordinator – UK Branch is responsible for providing administrative support as directed by the Manager, UK & European Operations.
Duties
The duties will include but will not be limited to the following:
Office Administrative Duties
- Maintain reception area to include answering and distributing all incoming calls and ensuring visitors are handled appropriately.
- Provide Branch safety orientation to visitors.
- Manage both incoming and outgoing mail and courier items.
- Maintain all administrative supplies to ensure adequate levels are held at all times.
- Assist with visa requirements, travel and meeting arrangements.
- Assist with coordinating company events and social functions.
- Support TCT sales initiatives as required including administratively.
- Weekly payroll reporting.
- Raising and maintenance of purchase orders as required for branch activities, inclusive of all UK field service accounts payable.
Field Service Administrative Duties
- Maintenance of Field Service Procedures for jobs inclusive but not limited to the following:
- Open jobs in the TCT ERP
- Track and allocate costs in the TCT ERP as required
- Completion of job closure for review by Manager, UK & European Operations
- Compilation of reports and close out materials to accompany invoice
- Support timely job close-out to enable prompt invoicing and minimize work in progress (WIP)
- With Branch Manager, coordinate field service job schedules, tooling and materials.
- Coordinate shipments with logistics support personnel to ensure timely delivery of materials to customers’ sites.
- With Branch Manager, develop and maintain standard field scopes of work, technical work instructions, and quality documentation.
- With Branch Manager, develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and tool lists for field service jobs.
- Maintain tooling inventory, PAT testing, calibrations and load testing in accordance with TCT processes.
- Maintain training documentation and registers/ matrices in collaboration with the Field Service Manager – UK.
Health, Safety and Environment and Quality Duties
- Update and maintain the TCT UK Health and Safety Policy.
- Ensure all assigned projects comply with company and customers’ Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.
- Develop and review risk assessments and Safe Work Practices (SWPs).
- Maintain HSE documentation and registers/ matrices in collaboration with the Field Service Manager – UK.
- Support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support cost reduction and operational improvement initiatives.
- Increase knowledge of the HSE Policy and Manual and maintain a positive attitude towards health and safety.
- Other duties as directed by the Manager, UK & European Field Service Operations.
- Take ownership of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) issues and demonstrate enthusiasm and support for HSE.
Qualifications and Experience
The Field Service Coordinator – UK Branch must represent TransCanada Turbines in a gracious, polite, organized, innovative and customer-focused manner, and ensure that all visitors are delighted with the level of responsiveness and attention they receive while in the care of the company.

The minimum training and/or educational requirement for this role is one (1) year related experience or a combination of education and experience that allows the individual to adequately perform the role, determined by the Manager, UK & European Field Service Operations.
