Position: Clerical Officer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Secretary to the Senior Business Support Manager within the SAHSCP Business Support team based at Elgin House to provide high‑quality, confidential administrative and organisational support within a fast‑paced and demanding environment.
You will play a key role in supporting senior management activity, ensuring effective coordination of diaries, meetings, correspondence and documentation. This is a varied and responsible role requiring excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities with discretion and professionalism.
Hours and Shift Pattern:
Monday – Friday 0900-1300- hybrid working pattern is negotiable

What you will do:
You will provide comprehensive, high‑quality and confidential personal secretarial and administrative support to the Senior Business Support Manager, ensuring the effective organisation, coordination and delivery of senior management business. The role supports efficient decision‑making, governance processes and stakeholder communication by proactively managing diaries, correspondence, meetings and documentation within a fast‑paced environment.

Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the job:
You will require proven experience in a personal secretary, executive assistant or senior administrative role supporting senior management, with sound knowledge of office administration systems, diary and meeting management, preparation of agendas and accurate minute‑taking, high levels of IT proficiency (including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams). You will have the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. Experience of working within a public sector, NHS or HSCP environment is essential, along with possession of an HND or equivalent level qualification and/or demonstrable experience in Business Administration, or a recognised secretarial qualification.
