About the Role:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and personable Allied Health Assistant to join the Alcohol and Drug Services team.
This is an exciting opportunity within a small cohesive and supportive multi-disciplinary team. In this position, you will be supporting inpatient and outpatient clients through the facilitation of psychoeducation programs that address alcohol and other drug use concerns. You will also assist with referring inpatient and outpatient clients to other support services to ensure positive client outcomes. You will also be liaising with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, and also be assisting and managing practical supports to ensure clients are provided with a high level care and compassion.
The successful applicant will thrive working within a multi-disciplinary team, that values kindness, respect and team work. You will have strong interpersonal skills, and have the ability to build strong professional relationships with a multitude of stakeholders. You will have exceptional verbal and written communication skills to support stakeholder engagement.
Please note due to the current needs of the department, this position will be filled at the Allied Health Assistant 3 level.
A merit pool may be created from this recruitment process and remain valid for 12 months. This pool may be used to fill both permanent and temporary positions across CHS.
