The UK Field Engineer is responsible for the safe, efficient, and technically compliant execution of
well intervention operations both offshore and on client locations. The role involves reviewing operational job
requirements, preparing and validating equipment readiness, and delivering Interwell services under varying
operational conditions while ensuring high standards of service quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
The position acts as the on-site operational representative for Interwell, maintaining regular communication with
Operations teams, supporting operational problem solving, and ensuring all operational activities are carried out in
accordance with company procedures, client requirements, and industry standards.
- Experience in slickline, E-line, coil tubing, or well intervention operations.
- Strong understanding of offshore operational processes and downhole tool operations.
- Experience working in offshore and client-facing operational environments.•Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving capability.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in challenging operational environments.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

- Offshore Medical certification.
- BOSIET / FOET and Norwegian OLF Survival certification.

- Verify all downhole tools, equipment, and associated documentation are complete, operationally ready, and
- suitable for deployment.
- Conduct operational checks prior to mobilisation and offshore deployment.
- Ensure operational activities are carried out in compliance with Interwell operational standards and client
- requirements.
- Apply technical knowledge and operational experience to resolve unplanned operational issues and support
- safe job execution.
- Perform emergency equipment maintenance and troubleshooting offshore where required.
- •Maintain regular communication with Operations Supervisors, Coordinators, and onshore support teams
- throughout operations.
- Attend and contribute to pre-job meetings, toolbox talks, operational briefings, and post-job reviews.
- Support continuous operational improvement through lessons learned and operational feedback.
- Act as the on-site operational representative for Interwell during offshore and client operations.
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients, offshore personnel, and third-party contractors.
- Support positive client engagement and ensure a high standard of service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Coordinate effectively with third parties to minimise operational disruption and support efficient job execution.
- Identify potential operational improvements and communicate additional service opportunities to Operations or
- Sales teams where appropriate.
- Complete all required operational documentation accurately and within required timelines.
- Prepare and update run records, job reports, installation drawings, and operational documentation following
- job completion.
- Ensure offshore job packs are completed with all required operational information.
- Support the review and validation of operational records with Operations Coordinators and Supervisors.
- Report operational issues, non-conformances, incidents, and lessons learned following operational activities.
- Ensure operational reporting requirements are maintained in accordance with company procedures.
- Support equipment preparation activities where possible to improve operational familiarity and readiness.
- Maintain assigned equipment in accordance with company maintenance standards and operational
- requirements.
- Ensure all equipment is operated, maintained, and handled safely and correctly.
- Support approval and verification of equipment deployed offshore.
- Develop knowledge and capability to perform increasingly complex operational activities and technologies.
- Assist with review, validation, and improvement of operational procedures and local processes.
- Mentor, support, and assess junior Field Engineers and operational personnel where required.
