A permanent position has arisen within the Ophthalmology team based at the National Treatment Centre-Highland for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who will deliver a high-quality secretarial support service.
You should have proven experience as a secretary, the ability to work accurately under pressure, have attention to detail and work co-operatively within a team.
You will provide comprehensive secretarial support to the Medical Secretaries, Ophthalmology Co-ordinators, Consultants and the clinical teams working in the Ophthalmology Service.
Medical terminology and a high degree of typing speed and accuracy are required together with excellent organisational skills and flexibility in approach to work.

- Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
